GTA San Andreas GAME-SELECTOR
-----------------------------

Author: Willi Fried

Everybody, who plays GTA SA, knows this problem:

You want to modify cars/planes/houses, but then you cant't play
Online anymore, or you can't pass a mission, because you need an
original vehicle,...

To install a 2. GTA SA solve this problem provisorily, because you need
5GB discspace.

--------------------------

This little tool allow you, that you can
switch between 2 different GTA SA versions

-modified game
-original game

It switches easily between the necessary files (6 in number) and then you have a working
GTA SA, where you can switch between 2 versions of GTA SA.

-You can select 2 different Languages: English, German

-You can choose between the gxt-files (american, german, italian,..)

INSTALLATION of the Game-Selector
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

To use the Game-Selector, you need to duplicate and rename the following 6 files,
to switch between them.

IMPORTANT: You need ~1 GB discspace (because of gta3.img)

1.	Copy the "GTA San Andreas Game-Selector.exe"-file
	into the "GTA San Andreas"-directory. Normally in:

	C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

2.	Duplicate the following files and rename them as follows:

				DUPLICATE		RENAME			RESPONSIBLE FOR
				(original)		(modified)

	in folder "data":	carmods.dat	->	carmods-mod.dat where the vehicles appear
				carcols.dat	->	carcols-mod.dat		Colors of the vehicles
				handling.cfg	->	handling-mod.cfg	handling of the vehicles
				vehicles.ide	->	vehicles-mod.ide	size, mass of the vehicles

	in folder "text":	american.gxt	->	american-mod.gxt	text in-game (district, subtitle, vehicles...)
	(for this case) (you can also choose other gxt-files)

	im folder "models":	gta3.img	->	gta3-mod.img the 3D-modells of San Andreas

	- you should get 6 new files which are ~1GB big

	LET ME KNOW, IF THERE ARE OTHER FILES, WHICH MUST TO BE SWITCHED

3.	The first time the Game-Selector asks you about the gxt-file, which you want to use:

4.	With Right-CLick -> "Select Language" you can swith betwen the Language "English"/"German":

5.	Now you can mofidy what you want.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU WANT TO MODIFIY THE FILES, YOU HAVE TO LOOK AFTER THE FILE-EXTENSIONs,
	   TO MAKE NO MISTAKE:

		ORIGINAL	MODIFIED

EXTENSION	(nothing)	-mod original Game active
		-original	(nothing)	modified Game active

INSTALLATION of the automatic Game-Selectors
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1.	Copy the 2 "Auto Mod/Original GTA San Andreas Game-Selector.exe"-files
	like the normal Game-Selector into the "GTA San Andreas"-directory. Normally in

	C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

2.	To make it work, the normal Gamne-Selector have to be installed and
	also the 6 files have to be duplicated and renamed. (shown at step 2.-4. in the Game-Selector Installation)

With a simple double-click you can switch automatically to the version you want.
If everything works fine, no Errormessage should appear.

Very good for online-games(SA-MP, MTA) and Mod-Installers (San Andreas Mod Installer),
without open the normal Game-Selector to switch bewteen the versions.

EXAMPLES:

In the folder "BAT-Filed_ENGLISH" are self-written Batch-files, which open with a double-click
the Online-program/Mod-Installer + one of the 2 automatic Game-Selectors
(for example: If you double-click on the "MTA SA"-batch-file, it opens MTA SA + the original automatic Game-Selector,
because you can't play online with a modded GTA SA.)

Copy the batch-files, which you want to use, into the "GTA San Andreas"-directory, or wherever you want

If the online-programs/Mod Installers and/or GTA San Andreas are not on their standard-directories, rename the extensions
of the batch-file from .bat to .txt and edit the adresses with the editor. Then rename the extensions back to .bat .
(If one of the paths is not correct, there will be a errormessage)

Because of the symbol of the batch-file, a batch-file isn't good on a desktop. In the folder "Shortcuts" there are
several shortcuts, which are better to use on a desktop.

You only have to edit the target of the shortcut (Right-click -> "Properties"(?))
The target should be the appropriated batch-file.
You can also change the icon.
You can also create a shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+..), to open directly the programm + the appropriated version (original/modified) of GTA SA
=> Very easy to use :-)

A very long instruction, but now it ends :-) (Thanks God)
